Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production

Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements

Design and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practices.

Perform structural and thermal analyses of components and assemblies, build prototypes, evaluate performance, identify issues, and make improvements

Create and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insights and direction.

Required skills and qualifications

Three or more years of experience in engineering.

In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Hands-on experience building small prototypes.

Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time studies, and process balancing.

Ability to collaborate with managers, manufacturing leads, customers, and peers.

Advanced experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Responsibilities:

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will support maintenance, operations, and quality with repairs and redesigns to meet production goals. This role would be for either our 2nd or 3rd shift.

2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm 3rd Shift: 10pm-6am Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of wiring standards & ability to work with 24VDC through 480VAC 3-Phase
  • Assist &/or lead in troubleshooting & repair of down production equipment containing computers, sensors, motors, PLC’s, etc.
  • Root cause analysis of electrical and mechanical issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform continuous improvement activities for quality and throughput
  • Assist in the fabrication, installation, start-up, & commissioning of new production equipment & systems including new technology integration.
  • Assist with parts research & inventory
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Read & interpret equipment manuals, schematics, drawings, & work orders in order to perform necessary maintenance tasks and service.
  • Electrical Maintenance Technician may be directed to perform & complete other tasks as deemed appropriate by management that may, or may not, be related to maintenance issues.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or certifications in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Maintenance related fields.
  • Proficient knowledge & understanding of electromechanical systems and building power systems.
  • Ability to test systems with devices such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools such as wrenches, drills, saws, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize time and handle multiple projects

The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving material through-out the factory, and ensuring smooth receiving, stocking, and shipping is achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Direct truck drivers on-location during unloading and loading.
  • Operate scale and record weights and dimensions accurately.
  • Operate packaging equipment to securely transport inbound, cross-dock, and outbound loads.
  • Load and unload at standard rate of production.
  • Inspect material handling equipment to be operated, recording the inspection at the time required.
  • Capable of passing certification on all materials movement equipment on site.
  • Able to consistently comply with PPE standards while on the production premises.
  • Must be able to visually differentiate between similar metals.Requirements
  • 12 months or more experience driving heavy equipment.
  • Able to professionally communicate.
  • Experience working in a 24/7 team production environment.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude as exemplified by results and feedback.
  • Ability to work safely consistently over time in a responsible and detailed manner.

The Line Operator position is responsible for the overall operation of the machine. They will be tasked to ensure the machine continuously runs safely while producing good products at an efficient rate. They will be able to troubleshoot obvious issues with the machine and communicate with the maintenance department. This position is also responsible for communicating issues to their lead and/or Production Manager.

The Operator is also responsible for collecting data/information on production and down times then reporting out every day to their shift lead and/or Production Manager. They will be looked at as the de facto lead of the machine to coordinate material sorting efforts and the process flow of materials for the machine. Any other reasonable assignment/project that you are directed by your shift leader and/or Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates machine, loads machine, weighs out finished materials, documents weights, documents down time, potential safety, quality, and production issues.
  • Adheres to all safety and PPE requirements.
  • Communicates with shift lead and/or Production manager or maintenance when issues arise.
  • Leads co-workers and material handlers in process flow.
  • Able to troubleshoot machines.
  • At times working as a Material Handler and Material Sorter.
  • Keeping the assigned area clean with help from co-workers working in the same area.

Requirements:

  • Communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • If possible, experience operating conveyor fed machinery or working with recycled materials.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. several times a day.
  • Must be able to sit, climb, bend, stoop and reach while working.
  • Must have manual dexterity for writing and banding activity.

The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of general building, and equipment services in our newly built Markle, IN facility.

Responsibilities

  • Keep and promote a safe, clean, and organized environment
  • Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, & repairs on production equipment including but not limited to: Forklifts, Skid steers, conveyors, drive systems, vibratory feeders, pumps, compressed air systems.
